Langenhagen, Oktober 2010. Industry insiders see growth potential in the low- to mid-range production printing segment. As the range of formats increases and higher volumes are possible, digital systems will become a more at-tractive alternative to offset printing or a sensible addition to an offset printer’s portfolio. Digital systems already account for nearly 10% of production printing, and their market share will con-tinue to rise. In recent years, DEVELOP has successfully entered the digital production printing market. DEVELOP embarked on 2010 with a strong growth spurt in the first quarter. Turnover rose by 33 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. "The market success of some new multifunctional systems and increased demand for software solutions and services have mainly contributed to this," reports Dirk Roos, President at Develop GmbH. "I think there is a good prospect that we will exceed our ambitious sales targets in the second quarter, too," states DEVELOP's President.
